ACTOR BIO:
Kecedra “Kaye” Kernisant began her career as a model for Venus Swimwear and BodyXpressions Swimwear. Modeling paved the way for her first acting role in the feature film "Tigerland". Since then, Kecedra has appeared in several independent feature films such as "Treacherous", "Resurrection Ferns", "Underclass Heroes", and is currently touring locally to promote her most recent film "Miracle Seven". Her theatrical debut was playing the role of Mattie Campbell in the Tony Award Winning play "Joe Turner’s Come and Gone". Since then, Kecedra has been in other theatrical productions including "City of Passion" – an episodic series, which she wrote, produced, and directed. She has also appeared in TV shows such as "America's Most Wanted" and "Crimes That Shook The World - Part 2". Kecedra has been in numerous TV Commercials and performed music live in concert as a guest hip-hop artist. Currently, Kecedra is performing with an ensemble cast with an ongoing Dinner Theatre Show called "Death By Decaf" where she plays the role of "Ari". Kecedra was previously an acting instructor for John Casablancas Modeling and Talent , and currently has her own Acting & Modeling Instruction Program for youths ages 6-17. LATEST UPDATES: Kecedra is proud to be the host of the new local TEEN TV SHOW called "Teen Talk It Out" which is based on helping teens to deal with everyday issues that they face.
